Prima prezentare de moda din Romania cu vestimentatie HANDMADE. In FABRICA de HANDMADE Breslo!

Duminica 11 octombrie, incepand cu ora 11, in clubul fabrica (Str. 11 Iunie nr. 50) se redeschid portile FABRICII de HANDMADE Breslo, pentru editia cu numarul 3. In cadrul evenimentului va avea loc "Prima prezentare de moda din Romania cu vestimentatie HANDMADE!".

"Inedit. Special. Unic. Deosebit. Artistic. Liber" sunt doar o parte din cuvintele care se pierd din ce in ce mai mult in banalul cotidian. Imagineaza-ti o zi doar pentru tine, fara probleme la servici, la scoala, acasa sau la facultate, fara facturi neplatite si fara credite restante. Imagineaza-ti o zi in care timpul are rabdare.

Pe 11 octombrie, intr-o zi de duminica, incepand cu ora 11, poti sa te plimbi prin FABRICA de HANDMADE Breslo. Loc de intalnire pentru comunitatea artizanilor handmade din Romania, poti cumpara, admira si cu siguranta te va impresiona cel putin unul din cele peste 2.000 de produse unicat lucrate manual. Isi vor expune creatiile artisti din Bucuresti si din toata tara.

In "Coltul artistului" ai ocazia sa ii cunosti, sa socializezi, sa te imprienesti dar si sa lucrati impreuna. 8 artizani vor prezenta in fiecare ora diferite tehnici personale de manufacturare a produselor. Cei mai curiosi si indrazneti vizitatori vor putea participa si, sub atenta indrumare a artistului, vor fabrica singuri diverse produse.
Vizitatorii cei mai creativi, dornici de exprimare prin culoare, isi pot masura simtul artistic prin participarea la "Maratonul de pictura". Acesta va avea loc toata ziua, pe cele 3 mega panouri de pictura instalate in exterior.

Noutatea absoluta si punctul culminant al acestei editii il reprezinta cu siguranta prezentarea de moda. Incepand cu ora 17:30, vei asista la "Prima prezentare de moda
din Romania cu vestimentatie HANDMADE", unde 3 tineri designeri isi vor prezenta noile colectii vestimentare.
Toata ziua va fi multa muzica, vor fi proiectii video cu tutoriale Breslo, prajituri si multe concursuri.
Va exista o taxa la intrare, modica, de 10 LEI, dar care bineinteles include o bautura de la bar iar vizitatorii norocosi vor primi cate un cadou la intrare.

A few moments ago, a client wrote to us about finding this wonderful picture in this month's CSID mag. We made the skirt a looooong time ago and almost didn't recognize it, but it just bounced back into our lives. Love the Boho feel of the whole setting.

As you know, we had a competition to win a vicious dress on Cosmo Chic. Today we can show you the sweet winner Eglantina enjoying her prize and rocking it at a party. At another party across the country, a black tutu met its master Carmen and had an affair with pink on the dancefloor.

These days have been definitely hectic, as major changes occurred at our lovely work place (aka the dollhouse, as we lovingly refer to). Can't tell you how happy we are with the way things turn out and the moral support from all of you (each and every single suburban princess out there).

Have I told you how much I LOVEEE skirts? I am always trying to find the perfect one, as it is a key ingredient in any of my outfits. Anyway, these are just a few of the skirts to wear during those hot August nights..

Tea Party at Our Dollhouse

We have two little new dresses for those of you who are going to tea parties these days. And we are not talking now about the ones where you drink fake tea from tiny china cups while wearing mom's pearls and high heels... good times :).

Hey you, pretty readers of this blog.. I just got back from the shortest vacation ever and I'm pretty much on zombie mode.. need sleep, need a sunny beach, sand in my shoes and a Mai Tai.

The One With the Prom Queen

Yesterday was a really great day for us. Not only did we receive this wonderful picture of Luciana rocking a Chotronette dress, but we also found out about being featured on one of our favorite international fashion blog - but more on that later.

So, the story goes a little bit like this.. Luciana wrote to us about the infamous turquoise dress but unfortunately at the time we did not have the fabrics to make that exact dress, so we offered to reverse the colors and to our surprise she trusted us and agreed. The dress turned out to be maybe even prettier than the original turquoise one and to me it pretty much resembles strawberry yogurt. I simply adore the photo and its bizarre beat as it reminds me of two of my favorite TV shows.. Carnivale and True Blood. Anyway, Luciana was la belle du bal and we're happy she choose us.

On a completely different note, yesterday as I was sipping my coffee and looking through my favorite blogs, I opened up Urban Socialite and could not believe my eyes.. it was a review of our precious Vicious Candy. It feels damn good to be featured on a blog that you read every day. You can read the entire thing here.

We'll get back with new thingies.. this time for real :)

It's one of our favourites since it took like a lifetime to make...piles of tulle turned into hundreds of layers... carefully colour selected and handmade attached.

Marshmallow Week

This is a custom made dress, ordered by a lovely lady (whom we cannot wait to see in it). We reversed the original colors and is basically not the easiest dress to make. But as you can see in the picture.. totally worth it.

Post Punk Ballerina

Here are a few of our most recent creations.. The orange&pink dress is our favorite and it is entirely made of lace.. well.. except for the corset. Unfortunately the pictures don't really do justice to them, but we're working on that. You can purchase these little gems from Ummagumma store. P.S. The mannequinn is not anatomically proportioned so the dresses look a tad big, but they're really medium-sized.

Meet Andra of FHM

Hello everybody.. we know.. a lot of time elapsed since we last wrote on this blog, but we had a lot going on and perhaps lacked the energy. We've decided that starting today we'll mainly write in English..

Anyway, this is Andra from FHM at the 100 Sexiest Women in the World Party rocking a pink-and-orange Chotronette tutu. We simply love the way she mixed and matched everything - the neon purse is perfection and the carousel earrings are very cute.

Although we didn't post anything lately, we did work a lot on creating fairytale items that you'll get to see this weekend (hint: dresses and tutus).
